Missy Brown, CFP®

Director of Advisory Services, Principal
Senior Wealth Advisor

“I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It’s a sort of splendid torch which I’ve got hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.” — George Bernard Shaw

Missy oversees the firm’s retirement, estate, tax and financial planning services. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Senior Family Wealth Coach, she serves high net worth families, helping them strategize and develop consensus around any situation involving a dollar sign.

Her 19 years of financial services industry experience include key leadership and relationship management positions at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and A.G. Edwards & Sons. Missy’s experience in the industry has taught her that wealth management can often be intimidating and complex. She strives to take on the role of teacher and coach, intimately learning about these complicated topics and presenting them to her clients with clarity to help ease their financial anxieties.

Missy says the highlight of working at Mosaic is the team mentality — “when you commit to a common goal, and work tirelessly for your teammates, nothing is more rewarding than achieving and celebrating success.” Her proudest accomplishment to date is being a part of the Mosaic leadership team. They have worked tirelessly to build the firm into something different, yet better for their clients. She is excited to go to work each day and continue working to bring their vision to fruition.

Missy graduated summa cum laude from Fontbonne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Masters in Communications from Lindenwood University. She lives in St. Peters with the rest of “Team Brown” — her husband Ben and their three children; Mia, Macy and Cooper. She was a collegiate soccer player and continues to enjoy all sports, coaching her children’s teams while serving on their school’s board.
